I am excited to be part of this small group show along with five great and inspiring photographers. The show opens on the 14th of March in Belfast. Luke Stephenson, Peter Watkins, Tereza Zelenkova and myself will give a talk at the gallery on the 15th of March. If you are in Belfast then please join.

“The exhibition addresses the relationship between truth, fiction and fantasy that exists within documentary photography. The artists included in Thresholds are interested in documenting specific subjects and sites. The resulting images however, pose a challenge to our expectations of reality and resonate with the realm of the imaginary.”

Labytinth’s second anniversary exhibition is looming: A Year In Development, private view on Thursday 21st February.

This amazing photographic lab will be showing over 70 of their clients’ hand printed pictures shot solely on film throughout the last year. It will be a great show and I am pleased to have been given the honor to decorate the invitation card.

Exhibitors include Anastasia Taylor-Lind, Spencer Murphy, Laura Hynd, Zed Nelson, Jennifer Pattison, Ben Stockley, Clare Shilland, Tyrone Lebon, Kate Peters and many more. Hope to see you there.

My series Into Oblivion will be shown along works by Joakim Eskildsen, Lars Tunbjork, Anders Petersen, Jonas Bendiksen, Sofie Amalie Klougart and others during an event organised by the Collective 16tyve in Copenhagen tonight. Very excited to be part of such a great bunch of scandinavian names and to have the work projected on a 5 meter wide screen!

I recently photographed Tim Andrews for his very inspiring project ‘Over the Hill’ about life with Parkinson’s Disease. The project is self initiated and he has been photographed during the last four years by over 180 different photographers. The project has been exhibited and published and Tim puts a lot of hard work into this truly remarkable and interesting initiative.

The renowned architect firm Stanton Williams approached me earlier this year saying they had seen and liked the piece I did for Le Monde’s weekly supplement about the New Central St Martins school here in London. Stanton Williams are the creators behind this absolutely stunning new building. Both me and my assistant wanted to enroll in courses by the end of the day – just so we could spend some more time there, enjoying the creative vibes in this school that felt much more like a contemporary museum.

Stanton Williams wanted to present six of my portraits in a large scale print and submit it to the famous 2012 Royal Academy of Arts Summer show. The piece ended up getting accepted so I am pleased to say that I have been exhibited in the world’s largest open submission contemporary art show.

The exhibition showcases work by both emerging and established artists in all media including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film. It was on from the 4th of June—12th of August.

BBC 2 made a Culture Show Special programme about this years exhibition and a few amusing clips from it can be seen HERE

I am very pleased to be part of the Photographers gallery’s “The World In London” project.

‘The World in London is an ambitious outdoor photography project for 2012. Coinciding with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games it shows London’s diversity and photography’s unique role in capturing the human form. Over the past three years we have commissioned acclaimed and emerging British and international photographers. This project brings together 204 portraits of 204 Londoners, each originating from one of the competing nations. The World in London celebrates London as a place where individuals from all parts of the world live side by side, each of them contributing to make London the unique city it is.’

You can have a look at it on the project’s website and it is currently on show in Victoria Park and on Oxford Street here in London.
